Fourteen South Dakota State University students will hold an exhibit in the Young Artists Gallery in the Visual Arts Center at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls. The exhibit, A Gateway to Place Between, opens April 8 with a 5 p.m. reception. It will be on display until Aug. 21.
“To have my work exhibited at the Washington Pavilion is an exciting and honorable achievement in my artistic career,” said Breanna Rechtenbaugh, a senior from Sioux Falls majoring in studio art education. “I have grown up visiting exhibits at Washington Pavilion and never had I thought that one day I’d be visiting to see my own work. I am thankful for the opportunity to have my work shown with other amazing student artists.”
